The client needed a faster and more accurate method to handle high-volume order fulfillment within their warehouse. Traditional paper-based or RF-scanning picking caused slowdowns, human errors, and higher labor costs. As the operation scaled, these legacy methods struggled to keep up with demand and real-time inventory visibility, prompting the search for a more efficient, guided picking solution.
Our Solution
We implemented a Pick-to-Light (PTL) system integrated with their existing Warehouse Management System (WMS). By using illuminated shelf indicators with quantity displays and one-touch confirmations, workers were guided directly to the correct items and amounts in real time. This paperless, visual workflow streamlined the picking process, reduced errors, and provided instant inventory updates back to the WMS. The deployment led to faster order turnaround, improved accuracy, and a scalable, operator-friendly solution for continued growth.
